After using an AChE enzymatic histochemistry (for slides) protocol (attached below), we observed some precipitates in the tissue when observed under the microscope. We checked the reactives used, the solutions used, but the result is the same. We also covered the beakers in which we made the solutions for the incubations and the enzymatic reactions with parafilm in order to avoid contact with the silver paper we use to cover them from light.

Does anyone know what else could be interfering into our histochemistry that can cause these awful precipitates (picture attached below).
