Why I am experiencing connection error in the Haploview (Error connecting Gene cruiser)?

Hi I want to built the LD / haplotypes blocks in Haploview. But Haploview is unable to get connected to the respective database and shows following error

Error connecting Gene cruiser

Anyone knows the reason?

And is there a good alternative to Haploview ?
