I think in our diversity, color in some community might have negative connotations. One might ask why is black consider negative and white positive. For example getting blacklisted for debt, why not red listed for example. Different culture groups will have different connotations to color which makes it complex again. There needs to be mutal understanding of the meaning and intent.
The fact that there are mental properties, which allow us to conceptualize logically, it does not mean that we do not possess properties that allow us to experience in the absence of logical concepts. An example of this would be that if we did not know the effect of certain drugs, which do not allow us to see clearly the reality, we might come to think that state is the only possible way of knowledge, that if we were not aware mentally of their effect on our brain. In my point of view, the intention with which we seek knowledge leads us to use various mechanisms that we experience and we work in perfecting them. Under the influence of some drugs it has been reported that some people perceive things more rich. So we can ask: could the rationality and logic are only ways of knowing according to a goal?
To process the data of consciousness, the human being has intuitive function-for what we can and cannot yet represent only discover as soul, origin- and the symbolic function -for what it is possible to represent as green. Huxley in his book titled “the doors of perception”, he describes how he had expanded his perception of visual experiences, producing vivid images with bright colors and giving the feeling of clarity. Passive sensitivity achieves right the way through the intuitive function.
We are talking about an evidential intuition which was also described by Husserl, in the case of intersubjectivity.
On the other hand, in the case of biologically coded and integrated information which when have apprehended through the intuitive function, the image turns to be a conducive passage of the coded data to our consciousness.
In other words, we can say that mental functions are subject to fallibility during conceptualization. Rationality, when comes from individual concepts or representations, will contain errors that are previously had been incorporated. Perhaps this could be an explanation of the disenchantment of the reasoning method among the philosophical field.
color has become a sophisticated language base, if one knows about Charles Moore's colorforth that he designed and still uses everyday. He encoded color as his compiler/interpreter's parser/parsing rules... i think that is a VERY concrete and successful application. And of course, color itself in computing platform as much as in physics, is but the interaction between light and a complex evolutionary system in human and animal vision.
