I am modelling Piezoelectric effect using vortex induced vibrations on a cylinder attached to a fixed beam while the end of the beam has a piezoelectric patch. In 2D, there is no problem. But when it comes to 3D, there are convergence and initialization problems when I try to couple up the 3 physics: Fluid flow, Structural mechanics, AC/DC. Using small mesh and small time step didn't help and trying to add a step function for to the inflow didn't solve the problem.
Any help will be appreciated.

Actually, I'm trying to do this in 2D. Can you please help me? I tried modelling a beam vibrating in fluid flow and then coupling piezoelectric devices but errors occurred on materials and I couldnt move from there.
