Microstrip patch antenna or Coplanar waveguide antennas resonant frequency can be tuned by by increasing and decreasing patch size.

I want to know the exact reason for it.

Seems like increasing patch size also increases capacitance and inductance which causes make it at lower frequency.

as resonance frequency, f can be calculated by 1 over 2pi*sqrtLC.

so, if LC value increases f value decreases.

Is it correct?
