I have the drosophila exposed to rotenone and then to detect the level of ROS. However, there's no difference between the normal food drosophila and rotenone food drosophila. It's strange that the ability to climb decreased in drosophila of rotenone feeding. So I want to your help to solve the problem for me. Thank you very much.

According to publications, the ROS content should rise in rotenone treated flies. And the symptoms are well observed : loss of climbing ability.
Maybe, the problem comes from your detection method. If possible, you should try another method to be sure that ROS are really present, as the symptoms suggest.
