Hi,

I am observing unusual foam formation in our bacterial cell culture. I am having serous issue to control this foaming. I have seen in the literature that there are some antifoaming agents (vegetable oil) are used to control the foam. In our case, the foam is too much, and the cell dies whenever we add the antifoam. The reason might be the addition of too much antifoam to control the excessive foam. My question is; why this much foam is generated? I need an immediate solution who are expert in this filed to my research get going.

Thanks for your kind help.
