We easily agree on what we should change/improve/support in education today but it is so difficult to make sustainable changes. What are the most common reasons why educational reforms fail? What relevant studies do we have on this topic?
Most educational policies are not implemented because they are vaguely stated and the financing implications are not always worked out. Another common reason for failure is that the content of a policy is based on an empirically unsustained theoretical relationship between instruments and outcomes. world bank discussion papers
I agree with Ahmad Sir. Besides, nothing is impossible if we are sincere, have faith & determination in what we are doing. But our minds are corrupted while implementing the policies.
There is a significant time lag between training educators and having them teach what they have learned. If the rate of technology change is faster than this, then you will not have many educators trained in the latest theories/technologies or practices.
