Hi professionals,

I have been simulated a 3-ph cable system in COMSOL Multiphysics. The electrical current flows through the conductor uniformly, and an induced current will be carried by cable shield wire due to the electromagnetic induction. So these are the main heat source in the under-study cable system. We assumed a value of 400 (W/m.K) for thermal conductivity of copper (conductor and shield wire) and when we change this value to 300 (W/m.K), the temperature changes are very small and negligible. I want your knowledge and also experience to know why the temperature doesn't change despite the value of thermal conductivity changes. I also attached the relevant files to show the case study more clearly.
