I'm currently developing an MS3 method on Orbitrap Fusion Lumos, I notice that the instrument fails to select the precursor ions with relatively high intensities.

For instance, a full MS with the following m/z value in the order of decreasing intensity 1034m/z, 2014m/z, 752m/z,1444mz, etc. The instrument selects precursor ions randomly; it might first pick 1444 for further fragmentation, then pick 2014, and 752. In fact, 1034 which is the highest intensity might not be picked.
