Scientists worldwide also promote female orgasm with a lover. They ignore women's solitary masturbatory experiences. There is political and emotional bias in the research. Women are expected, regardless of any laws supporting their right to consent, to provide for men's sexual needs especially within a loving relationship. Emotional bonding motivates women to provide regular intercourse to obtain male support for a family or loving companionship and support.
The emotional bonding concept does seem plausible to me as a necessary ingredient for female sexual response. This in turn could be enhanced through vicarious experiences of sexuality via intimacy with the male during sex, and experiencing their signs of pleasure. Just the thoughts of an interested lay person. This is a delicate topic which I believe Jane is helping to show, is currently not fully explained or understood. The deep mysteries surrounding sex continue!
Thanks Geoff for your support! I am certainly challenging all the assumptions that are made about sexuality, especially women's sexuality. I hope to get people to think and to realise how little they know. There is no sex education so it's no one's fault. But people generally are very reluctant to educate themselves when it comes to sex. They prefer fantasies.
