There is no accepted wisdom when it comes to sex. The research findings have been ignored. So we have no scientific (consisent and unbiased) account of human sexuality. Sex therapists focus on the emotional rewards in the wider relationship that may cause a woman to offer regular sex. They do not talk of sexual techniques because of the belief (based on sexual ignorance) that every women responds differently. Couples never have the confidence to challenge the advice they are given. It's a money making machine.
