I noticed that some people, but didn't know to distinguish which are unable to maintain a solid logical line of reasoning when more than one subject is discussed at the same time on a timeline, a conversation. Some theoretical background is already able to explain this perception?
I think this question is more on (cognitive) psychology than on automated reasoning etc.
Some people are more talented in writing, other in sport, other in music, other in mathematics and logic, etc. There are many books&papers on education and pedagogy where the similar questions (how can we influence on child's talents, how we can develop talents, and so on) are discussed - maybe it makes more sense to ask this question with those tags.
Logical thinking is not an exception - it can be taught, and the result depend also on the teacher. And it starts from the basics of mathematics. There is a famous aphorism of Mikhail Lomonosov - he was the first Russian academician: “Mathematics should be learned just because it disciplines and bring up the mind”.
Well, I expected to find these answers with Howard Gardner and his theory of multiple intelligences.
