Corporate leaders are puzzled with conditions like, attrition, retention, talent management, absconding etc. A unique situation happening in many organizations is that the employees just abscond from the work. Absconding is a willful action where an employee leaves an employer without notice due to several push and pull factors in the workforce.
The main reason for absconding is difference in organizational and individual goals. The congruence can be improved during the interview process where the interviewer clearly stipulates the expectations of the organization without leaving the finer details which translates to the push and pull factors. This will give the employee an opportunity to review and analyze to see the opportunity costs (if any).

2. No rewards
3. Less salary
4. Conflict in org goals
5. Conflict in personalities
6. Unstable personality
It could be neither: Reasons could be any or some of the following:
1. No engagement practice
2. Uninteresting work
3. No leadership--command and control managing
4. No employee dignity
5. Repressive organization culture
6. Negativity in the organizational climate
7. False promises made at the time of recruitment
9. No respect for individual or collective diversity needs

I would like to add some pt here about call sector employees that they usually abscond bcoz most of them just join the company for pocket money in their college vacations or for time pass
Dear Harshita, Look at the scenario of Call centers. In Call centers people leave, because, employee's performance is strictly monitored by the team lead and the supervisory cadre manager and further correlated with their business conversion. In order to defend their ego, based on the scenario, these employees further decide to leave the organization, rather try to understand the business requirements and improve their performance. Many top level sales managers are leaving the organization, since they cannot achieve the monthly target. The question here is: employees just abscond or resign from the organization just to defend their ego state or is it a rationale move well planned and enacted based on the perceived risk, which is part of a rationale thought?
There could be a number of reasons, including:
1) No job engagement
2) Abusive relationship with the employer / boss
3) Nothing at stake
4) Impulsive decision
