As I am to perform CV of my cells but confused about electrolyte selection. Can anyone suggest me the way of electrolyte selection..i mean the electrolyte will depend upon the properties of working electrode or some other parameters?
In general, it depends on what type of redox reaction we have interested in such as
1) anodic or cathodic direction first in your CV exp?
2) aqueous or nonaqueous solution?
3) solvent polarity or dielectric constants?
4) possible ion-pairing with your analyte?
But eventually, a couple of quick experiment would give some better idea for next experiment.

In order to choose the best electrolyte, you should answer some questions about your CV is taking place in aqueous or non-aqueous and you are applying positive or negative potential. All of these points are highly important to select and detect the right electrolyte.
I also recommend you should read and follow the previous work in the field, and then you could compare and investigate to find the best electrolyte.
