Why concentration 0.25M were better compare to 0.5M as electrolyte in electrolysis?

I am using NaOH as electrolyte, i want to check the effect of concentration. Temperature 30celsius, current 0.3amps fixed. Both electrode (anode and cathode) stainless steel 304. I am taking time as response.

As i understood, when increase concentration, water conductivity is increase too, then should be hydrogen and oxygen produced faster. As i increase the concentration to 0.75M oxygen gas almost not produced.

H2 and O2 production flow rates are directly proportional to applied current, not to electrolyte conductivity. Constant current means constant gases production rates.

But I don't understand what do you mean by "time is the response"? Are you making chronopotentiometry?
