The simple reason is that you csnnot print in RGB because the additive mixture of colors is only possible for colored lights that emit photons and therefore the mixture gets lighter. Printing on the other hand csn only be done by colorants (colored matter) that absob light (photons). Therefore mixtures with two or more colorants always become darker.

What is RGB?
The RGB code is an internationally recognized color model. This model is based on the three primary colors red (Red), green (Green), and blue (Blue).
When we talk about RGB we are talking about a model based on "additive synthesis" that is: it is possible to represent any color by means of the sum of the three basic ones. By superimposing them all, the color white is obtained. Also called light colors since it is what is used in any medium that uses a screen, be it cell phones, computers and TV.
What is CMYK?
The acronym CMYK indicates a color pattern also known as four-color. The colors referred to are cyan (Cyan), magenta (Magenta), yellow (Yellow) and black (Key black). This system is what is used by traditional typefaces in printing presses and works through the use of a black plate to which the cyan, magenta and yellow plates are aligned. A historical curiosity is that the Key or black color (black plate) originally contained the majority of graphic information, hence the K in the name of the CMYK model.
When we talk about CMYK, we refer to a subtractive model, which works in the opposite way to the RGB model: the color is obtained through the different luminosity of each tone. By mixing the four colors we can obtain any color in the visible spectrum.
Differences between file and print
This is quite a complex issue. The colors that we see on the computer screen are RGB while the colors at the time of printing are CMYK.
Which is the reason? The answer is simple: screen allows viewing with millions of colors while printing is much stricter. This is the basic reason why a file that is displayed one way on the computer does not always correspond to the printed product. To summarize, if a file is intended for a screen display (for example a graphic element for a website) the RGB system is the best because it covers a larger spectrum of colors.
If, on the other hand, you plan to carry out a graphic project for printing, it is better to change it from RGB to CMYK so that you do not have surprises after printing. Professional programs offer the possibility of choosing according to which model to work and it is enough to click on the selection. These software (such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator) allow you to convert a file from RGB to CMYK. Thanks to this automatic conversion system you can notice the chromatic variation between the two profiles.
Take into account the printing of a black color, it is not the same in its complete saturation in black just by using black ink, than with the saturation of all CMYK inks.
