Why C-3 position is more reactive than C-2 in imidazo pyridines?

In imidazo pyridines there are 2 CH carbons but why C-3 carbon is reactive

Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it is because of a particular resonance form (similar to the behavior of DBU).
