As Bingham Model assumes Newtonian behavior of magnetorheological fluid (MRF) after crossing yield stress but in actual practice MRF is Non-Newtonian after yield. So more accurate model is Herschel-Bulkley model which uses power law index after yielding. Hence Herschel model is more complex though it's more accurate as well. Still people are using Bingham model more in their research. So Is there any other benefit of Bingham Model over Herschel-Bulkley model other than it's simplicity?
