If you have not observed any PbS characteristic value, may be Vijayalaxmi, your problem it be the chemical concentrations that you employ. It would be interesting that you reproduce the experiments reported in the paper cited by Mir, all results are reproducible and will be useful for you in order to start your research. Chemical bath deposition is very sensitive to chemical concentrations, if you observe in this work, all variations are in a smooth way, pH and metal ion-complex are fundamental. Consider to Mir's suggestion. PbS is a nobly compound, it should precipitate.
I got good results in SEM and XRD analysis. I measured band gap energy using R vs T plot graph. The only problem is with its optical property analysis.
Please, Can you tell us how you have realized your optical properties? Can you paste your T spectra?
