I am trying to use the Censo Ejidal 2001 and 2007 to know the distribution of land by sex in Oaxaca. I have already worked with the data and I have an important number of municipalities (42) without any information about their ejidatarios or comuneros in both years. I have checked that these municipalities do have ejidos and communities by using other sources…So if anyone have information about it, it would be really helpful.
Pablo, thanks a lot for your answer. I thought the same as you. And I asked INEGI for the raw data which I am already working with. The missing municipalities have very detailed data in other sources and they have different population sizes. My second hypothesis is that maybe there are differences between how the territory is divided depending on the administration level and topic. Oaxaca is a very complicated territory because it has different ways of setting boundaries, for example, there are ejidos or agrarian communities which have land in several municipalities. And it is also complicated because it has a lot of conflicts around land.
