I've been fabricating ZnO nanorods on a glass substrate with a seed layer. The problem is the ZnO nanorods do not evenly cover the substrate (around 2 x 2 cm). At first, I thought it was because of the unevenly spread seed layer (with spin coating method) and after I came up with trial-error, I think it is true because I've got a good result in my opinion (the zno nanorods are covered on the substrate evenly). But, now when I redo the fabrication, the substrate is not covered evenly again, with the same seed layering method that I got a good result on before (I've been redoing it like three times). I'm kinda confused about it. Can anyone give me some perspective?
