Personally I believe that men's acute arousal prevents them from feeling much emotional response when it comes to sex. It helps to differentiate the roles of the penetrating male and the receiver (male or female) of intercourse. The key pleasures of sex are are enjoyed by the penetrating male. Evidence for this includes the fact that only a penetrating male pays for sex. The receiver is always compensated financially either directly or indirectly for providing a male the pleasure of penetrating a partner.
Men’s greater sex drive may be partially due to the fact that the sexual motivation pathways have more connections to the subcortical reward system than in women; exposure to erotic stimuli immediately activates these parts of the brain, i.e. men's sexual arousal can exist totally independent of a relationship. In this sense, Jane Elizabeth Thomas , any explanation can only be found via brain and sexual science (human biology).
Orgasm is a characteristic of male reproductive function. Human reproduction relies on male orgasm to trigger ejaculation of sperm. Men's sex drive ensures that this event is most likely to occur within a vagina. Without male orgasm and male sex drive, the human race would not be where it is today. Female orgasm has nothing to do with reproduction. It is a private pleasure that a responsive woman enjoys alone. But clearly very few women are responsive. Otherwise, Kinsey and Hite's work would not be ignored.
