Hi, I have an issue with AMOS, so after preparing the diagram and analyzed the estimates, in the Estimates -> scalars -> there are missing the correlations and variances, in a first analysis with a first dataset they appear , what is the problem?
Karolina Sallaku The correlations and variances of the latent variables may not appear in the output of your AMOS (Analysis of Moments Structures) model for a variety of reasons, including:
1. You have not indicated whether or not these statistics should be included in the output: AMOS does not include the correlations and variances of the latent variables in the output by default. To incorporate these statistics, utilize AMOS's "Estimator Options" box to indicate that they should be included.
2. The model is not recognized: If the model is not identified, estimating the correlations and variances of the latent variables may be impossible. This can happen if the model is overparameterized, which means there are more unknown parameters than observations in the data set, or if the model is underidentified, which means there are fewer observations than parameters to be estimated.
3. The information available is insufficient: If the data set is tiny or there is a lack of variety, it may be impossible to estimate the correlations and variances of the latent variables effectively.
If you have checked the estimator choices and are still not seeing the correlations and variances in the result, it may be beneficial to evaluate the model specification and the data to confirm that the model has been recognized and that there is enough information available to generate the output.
