Why acceleration time history and displacement time history give different results for building on pile in sap2000?

I have modelled a 3 storey building on pile with acceleration time history analysis once and displacement time history specified at the end of non linear link by specifying free filed motion. What is the cause of difference in response uptown 100 times although displacement time history is generated from same acceleration time history
