Bauhinia saksuwaniae Mattapha, Chantar, & Suddee, sp. nov. -- Nordic J. Bot. [without volume]: 1. 2013 [11 Dec 2013] [epublished] was retracted by the authors after publication because they later found that same species had already been published earlier under the name B. Bauhinia nakhonphanomensis Chatan -- PhytoKeys 26: 2. 2013 [9 Sep 2013]. In this case no one can be blamed because both the MSS were in press more or less in the same time.
On the contrary, after the publication of a book review in a reputed international taxonomic journal all the copies were forced to be retracted, resulting in loss of time, manpower and money. Furthermore, it brought disgrace to be author (the author himself is responsible!) for it was proved to be a case of plagiarism. Here it is the author’s intentional fault. The reviewers and publishers are also partly responsible
