Professors James A. Smith at Princeton University, Witold F. Krajewski at the University of Iowa, and Daniel Sempere-Torres at CRAHI Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain have done extensive research in the radar rainfall and runoff arena. There are many other groups around the world (too many to list) that are engaged in this area of research.
