I just want to know who has first used the artificial neural networks (ANN) to detect and/or locate faults in electrical networks

Dear Fabrice Clerot;
Thank you very much for your contribution, However, the article in this link: http://www.dte.us.es/investigacion/teii/delfos/articulos/1990-04.pdf
was published in 1990..
I want really go to the starting point
Hi... not for electrical network diagnosis, but maybe the first work for fault detection by using neural networks:
Ungar L. H. and B. A. Powell, 1988, ‘‘Fault Diagnosis Using Non-linear Adaptive Networks’’
Actually failure detection is a relatively new application of neural networks.
It is a very interesting question. I have a similar research interest.
I use cascade forward neural network for fault prediction in electrical systems or smart grid.
Do you know about cascade forward neural network applications for fault prediction in electrical systems or smart grid?
Thank you all for your contribution
