i should be achieve EBSD (electron back scatter diffraction) for my current project. but we had not access to it. can i send my specimens to a corporation or institute to do it for me. please guide me
I have to agree. A simple question: "Who wants to work for me?" sounds a bit unreasonable, don't you think so? We are commonly not sitting around and waiting for work. It is also important to know which kind of samples. You should look for someone who already did similar investigations since the only existing of an EBSD system does not make sure that there is the required competence. This would also suggest to look for the guys with the newest systems, but commonly they don't have the long-time experience you probably need. The best is really to convince someone which is well-experienced in the material you are investigating, and additionally has an EBSD system.
As Thomas said: Inspire us! :-) We are not biting...
It does seem strange that you are embarking on a project without the means to complete it! Whose idea was that? It is a bit like saying I need to cross the ocean but I don't have a boat. Usually when a project is designed you make sure that the facilities are in place before you start, or if you don't have them, then you bid for funding to put them in place, or you bid for funding to get the work done elsewhere. Very little comes free these days as all institutions need to earn money from external consultancies.
However, as the previous posters have mentioned if you describe in some detail what you are trying to achieve then you may yet get some help.
thanks, but i know nowadays for brithing you should pay money (e.p Tax) let alone to EBSD test, i work on Co-base alloy (HA188) Co-22Cr-22Ni-14W-0.1C, we do rolling process on it, and i want evalute the strain distriboution (Kernal average distribution) by KAM analysis and so grain boundary (GB) analysis
