I am fabricating the glucose biosensor based on ZnO nanorods over the gold thin film. I have to carry out the CV measurement. Can you please help me to know which wire (either Pt or Ti) should i use for the electrical connection. Thank you.
you think of practical conductor copper using silver paste -- Ti has oxide which will reduce condcutivity
Silver has the highest electrical conductivity of metals.
After that, copper, gold and aluminum.
Between this metals, copper is Cheapest.
i am using Cu wire connecting electrodes. it gives better result and low cost too. then why should we go to high cost material.

take a 5 ampere copper wire used in our houses - release the strand of copper wires
take few strands
good quality copper wire a must you can use with the insulation for identification of colours
Prof V.S Muralidharan, Could you please advise how to fix the copper wire with the gold on glass electrode (either using the silver paste or soldering). which one is the preferred method.
i feel soldering depends upon the thickness of Au film
you are going to do on the back side only
you can insulate with cello tape
Cu wire is suitable but carefully to avoid damage your Au film, you might just use conducting paste to fix Cu wire on Au film. good luck.
Use a thin copper wire, in case it is insulated scrape with a fine blade, and use good quality air drying silver paste.

Hello everyone, I am trying same thing to paste Cu wires on thin gold film via silver paste. But its not working. IV setup shows no connectivity. Is Silver paste require any annealing? or any other tip
