Which value of annual average evapotranspiration looks correct for gilgit basin.....32 mm/year or 383 mm/year?? Any idea??
What is the annual average rainfall for the basin?? Unless you mention this how anybody can even guess the answer, other than the local or regional experts!!
First of all you need annual precipitation and climate situation in that basin. if you have it, you can made a rough guess about it.
on the face of it, by just looking at the numbers, 32 is too low. Given the choice between the two numbers, it would therefore be 383 mm/year.

Evapotranspiration mostly depends on temperature and incoming short-wave radiation. I do not know the climatic conditions of the area, nor the vegetation present, but if it is a choice between the two numbers you suggested, I would go for 383 mm/year, because 32 mm seems extremely low.
