There are so many angles that can be used to improve the construction management. This improvement can range from the technological aspects to political, cultural, social, environmental, and to legal issues.
Yes, there are many cases of construction management can be seen as business as usual; and other cases that require special handling. Therefore, a particular model or framework depend on your research direction and the very particular case that we want to study and in turn to improve it.
For example, one of the important component of scheduling is the notion of critical path, which has a zero delay time during execution. This critical path depends on the nature of your construction project.

Can you suggest me suitable project management theory for evaluating the environmental impacts of construction industry? What is your opinion about conservation of resources (Resource based view theory) as construction industry is resource intensive in nature and when it integrates with management it incorporates intangible resources as well.
