You can use Husserl's theoretical framework (1962 and 1970) to guide your study. It provides philosophical underpinnings for the design that you will use. The assumption is that Husserl's philosophy believed that experience as perceived by human consciousness has value. That subjective information is important for scientists who are seeking to understand human motivation because human actions are influenced by what they perceived as real (Lopez & Willis, 2004). Husserl believed that phenomenological approach brings out essential components of natural experiences specific to a group of people.

Another model that can be used is the Health Belief Model by phychologists Hochbaum, Rosenstock, and Kegel where the researchers attempts to explain and predict health behaviors. This is done by focusing on the attitudes and beliefs of individuals. This is a suitable framework that can be used when trying to motivate someone to change their behavior. If individuals see the benefit of changing a behavior, then they will be motivated to change.
I suggest that you could use both the ACA and MACRA models used in the US that are framed as programs that may be used to implement care decisions made by patients in acute situations. These situations could lead to different outcomes by influencing the delivery system for both patients and the practitioners as a result their motivation for an identified outcome. The patient and family's input is essential and coordinated with their motivation for possible outcomes, and is discussed and implemented with an educated decision on behalf of the patient's best interests.
