Hello academic community,

I'm working on an experiment that tests the influence of music on software and I'm not sure, if I labeled the experimental design correct and secondly, which statistical test to choose.

1. Study Design

I have 3 independent between subject variables, the 3 conditions (music 1 vs. music 2 vs. music 3) participants are listening to.

Furthermore, there are 4 dependent variables (performance in software app, liking, immersion and usability).

So, I guess this is a 3 x 4 between subject design? Is this correct?

2. Test

Every dependent variable is tied to a distinct hypothesis or research question. For example, music 1 increases the liking of the app. Or for the research questions: does music 1 increase immersion?

Is it correct to conduct multiple univariat ANOVAs (each for every hypothesis/research question) or do I need to conduct one MANOVA?

Thanks in advance!
