I did a little research and I realized that researchers used very different tests even in same conditions (Anova, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis). In my study, i used 4 volunteers for their lymphocytes. I performed chromosome aberration, micronuclei and SCE tests. But I could not decide the test for statistically comparing my results. What are your views? thanks.
Genotoxicity can be more easily compared through DNA ladders and chromosomal aberration based on the changes observed from that of control
First of all, you need to know about your main genotoxicant. When you realize that, could better detect the genotoxic effects.

I think either one of those tests would be fine, but of course to perform ANOVA your data needs to satisfy the assumptions required for parametric testing, if your data does not satisfy those assumptions, you should perform the non-parametric Mann Whitney U test.

Statistical tests of results of genotoxicity investigation are necessary in order to have reliable and valid conclusions on investigation. The statistical test(s) to be used depends on the nature of obtained data. If reading/scoring of slides involves counting the number of aberrant cells or damaged DNA in replicates for the experiments and controls (positive and negative), ANOVA with selection of operations such as descriptive statistics, Duncann's multiple range test can be used to compare the mean values of aberrations.
I agree with the comment that the test you select depends on the type of data you have generated.There is a useful text book that outlines the best statistical approach to use for each of the mainstream genotoxicity assays, It is called Statistical evaluation of mutagenicity test data, published by Cambridge University Press, UK, edited by DJ Kirkland.
