Assuming that you might have 2 gender groups (even though there are more than 2 genders) and a metric measurement of the tibiofemural distance, a t-test for independent samples could work.

To test the association between two categorial variables a 2-dimensional chi-square test could work.

Of course, you need to check, if your data fulfill the statistical requirements of the respective tests of significance.
