There is nothing you can't do with R. You will definitely find a package for performing the analysis you are willing to.

You can use SPSS but, definitely, R is a more powerfull tool. The downsize is that it takes more time to master.

Now a days a packages of R are very crucial to perform any statistical related scenarios and parameters including trend, correlation, manipulation and analysis of a data with a very interactive plots. Try it...!

I will recommend Python. Use Panda package in Python. Much faster than R. Use "seaborn" python package for plotting.   

As many of the researchers suggested, R is well suited! Please use the package 'trendchange'.

SPSS can do the work. it's easiest than R simulation as well as SAS and Matlab. Its technical spot is fully available while for others you need to master their codes.

I will also recommend R with the many packages that are being developed. But Python also can do it as well like Sohom Mandal said it.

Entering in the codes allows a certain understanding and a control of all we do.

You can use SPSS for performing trend. It is easy in its technical spot.

You can use XLSTAT that is a useful extension but in MATLAB you can write code and plot everything. So MATLAB is more powerfull.

You can use CRD-NAIM v1.0 excel based software or TrendDetection Toolkit. Both are very simple and easy to apply.

One can use "Trends" software which was free before.

Can you please share the weblink for downloading trends software.

Its not free anymore. It can be accessed via https://licensing.ewater.org.au/order.php. There is 30 days free version.

You do not have to manually add a line to a graph in the Excel program. In the graph, the same series is added to both the horizontal and vertical axis, and the resulting scatter points can then be easily selected as a straight line. This gives a 1: 1 line in the graph.
