I'm using a fully distributed hydrological model to simulate the hydrologic responses to a storm event in an urban watershed. I want to generate the spatially distributed runoff values in an urban watershed using this modeling. I've successfully completed the modeling and want to see how the results intersect with the town's existing drainage lines. So, which software would be best for this purpose, and how should it be used?

There is a lot of software available for urban storm drainage modeling like HEC-RAS, LISFLOOD, MIKE FLOOD, MIKE URBAN, SWMM,4D GIS.
Well, you can use Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) as it is a freely available software.
For your goal better use software "SURFER" . "Surfer" best GIS software for visualistaion. It is my experience.
