For photovoltaic energy, the main softwares are PVsyst and PV*SOL. From what I tested and used the PVsyst has better results, but closer to PV*SOL. PV*SOL stands out for 3D mode.
If you want free software there are Solen. Not great possibilities ... but simple.
If you are looking at the dimensioning of the two systems and doing techno-economic optimisation then HOMER (https://www.homerenergy.com/) is good for that.
