Which of ENVI, ERDAS and EDRISI software is better in terms of precision and ease of use?.
My personal experience says that ENVI is better.

in order to do supervised classification, ERDAS has a unit ability to give each class a happening probability, which means in case of more than one possible class for a point, ERDAS will assign the more probable class to that point. ENVI can not do that. It only allows you to define a probability threshold, which means points with lower probability will get no data classification.
