I heard that ' if you translate something either small or big , you will get many rights' , you will be considered as a part of the article and you can get benefit from this translation, is it true?
If you translate a scholarly article, you will just get an acknowledgment at the end of the paper. ince there is no intellectual contribution on your part, you will not be given co-authorship. I don't think this can give you any major benefits. The only benefit that I see if that you wish to make a career in translation, you can use this in your CV.
