I am currently working on a proposal with the aim of building a Virtual Museum of receding traditional dances for a cultural institution in Kumasi, Ghana. Below are the specific objectives. 1. To digitize receding dances taught and enacted at the Centre for National Culture, Kumasi, in video and still image formats. 2. To create an interactive virtual museum for the Centre for National Culture, Kumasi. 3. To evaluate the impact of the interactive virtual museum on users’ learning experiences.
Do I use the Exploratory Sequential Mixed Method Design for the study? Which research design will better suit the study?

The method you proposed is aligned only to the third objective of your study. So that, you might need to:
(A) Collect data about traditional dances in Kumasi. For this stage, you might follow a participatory approach by involving both museum professionals and local citizens (e.g. participatory design workshops or focus groups).
(B) Develop the interactive digital museum experience based on the output of step (A). That means you are going to follow the approach of Research through Design, conducting a research that employs practices and processes of design with the intention of generating new knowledge.
(C) Evaluate the impact of the developed experience by designing a User Study (recruiting a number of participants to interact and assess the digital museum experience). In this study, you would follow a number of evaluation methods as you proposed (i.e. observation, interviews, user experience questionnaires, etc.)
