For me, I find mendeley easier than endnote ..which is not what all think so.... better you give a try to mendeley..

I recommend Endnote or Mendeley, they both have good user friend interface, convenient to use, and they are easy to acquire.

mendley and end note are refered by top journals. both easy to use. Rest for free papers zotero is also an option

I reckon Endnote as it is easy and has many advance features than other reference manager software's.

Google scholar is also good tool of references management. You can modify the references according to different styles like APA, Hardward etc

It does not matter the name of the software, the important thing is that you master one of them, I personally use Mendeley

I think Mendeley Reference Manager is the best, though many people use JabRef also. Mendeley is free and provided by elsevier. We can read multiple pdf files directly in its own window and take notes in associated notepad.
