Which plant binary vector has a 1X normal 35S promoter to drive the transgene and Bar as a selectable marker? I want to transform Arabidopsis plants. Thanks.

Just curious, are there any reasons trying to avoid using double-enhancer 35S (d35S) promoter? Many people like to use d35S, instead of regular 35S, due to its higher expression strength. You don't want your gene-of-interest express too much?

I am just curious, why try to avoid using double-enhancer 35S (d35S) promoter. Many people are using d35S promoter because of its high expression strength. Don't you wish to have a stronger expression of your gene-of-interest in plants?
The reason we want to use a weaker 35S promoter is we are testing our system of artificial miRNAs based on number of copies/repeats. So to study the copy effect we want to neutralize the promoter effect. A strong promoter may obscure the importance of miRNA repeats. Alternatively, we may want to use inducible promoter and that way we can control the concentration of a inducer to regulate gene expression.
