Sadly, Leea indica (Vitaceae) is not the same plant as Similax pumila (liliaceae). However, one option would be to search the internet for a university extension document on Leea indica.
A part of the answer depends on the situation where you are trying to control L. indica. How large an area? How badly infested? What will the land be used for next? Also remember that all relevant government regulations on pesticide application apply if that route is chosen. A few plants in a home garden might be best handled by mechanically pulling them out of the ground. Other situations might require an herbicide, a biocontrol agent, or other means.
