For some remote areas usually it is not so easy to find all the neccessary data for running landslide susceptibility maps.
But still there are some papers on landslide susceptibility mapping for data scarce areas. Which method is the best in this case?
I suggest use satellite data to make the landslide contributing factors for susceptibility mapping.
Which data do you have or you are able to obtain? It is hard to recommend some paper or method without further informations about your problem.
in my opinion, you have to look at some papers based on the data scarce regions. I have worked in data scarce region and published couple of papers listed below. Hope it helps. There are many other researchers who are working in data scarce regions.
