I completely agree with Dr. Codony, we did PMA/EMA pretreatment for enteric viruses using both 650 W Halogen and 4 Watt LED lamps. Handling of the assay and the reproduction of results was much better with the LEDs.

In my opinion blue led lamps are more efficient, non damaging for live cells and generates more repetitive results.
