Hi, I'm not sure if this is what you are after-but there are a number of technologies available to early childhood classrooms, including tablets/touchscreens (suitable for 1-2-1) and interactive whiteboards (for mote group-based work). 

With story telling and reading together being a large part of ECE, digital storytelling tools that allow children to read together and interact with texts, as well as create their own stories would be useful.

Additionally, technology tools for class management such as online behaviour systems, virtual timers and resource organisation tools may also play a significant role in the modern ECE setting.

Hello Allauddin,   there are a variety of technologies available for schools in the UK especially at Key Stage 2 & 3 ranging from tablets to computers.  Gamification is an up and coming area.

I am recommending a book on Early Childhood and Technology - This is written by an Early Childhood Educator and is excellent "Teaching in the Digital Age, Smart Tools for Age 3 to Grade 3: By Brian Puerling. I think you will find everything you are looking for in this book. I use this as a textbook for my Instructional Technology class with pre-service teachers.

Really interesting thread (and helps update my own reading). I am always keen to ask what someone is trying to improve before asking about particular technologies. From working on the UK government projects and international reviews in this area e.g. http://www.nesta.org.uk/publications/decoding-learning , I have seen a range of innovative examples, from the use of walled twitter groups to bridge parents and teachers to the use of automatic doors and hand dryers to help 3 year olds talk about sensors and programming. Our group in Edinburgh  http://www.de.ed.ac.uk/children-technology  has run quite a few projects around technology in the early years (0-8 years) if we can help any more.

From my experience as a primary teacher, I can say that the Cyprus Ministry of Education has strongly promoted ICT into schools especially the last few years. A huge effort has been given during the curriculum change. Particularly the syllabus for Maths for each primary class has been enriched by similar interactive apps. Kids can have access to this apps through the interactive boards which are in many school classes so far in Cyprus or exercise by using the computers in the computer labs that are hosted in many big schools. Most of the school classes have a projector, so even projecting the students' books (consider that all students' books have an interactive or not digital form) makes teaching and learning much easier for kids and teachers, Teachers are using different kinds of application software to support their teaching funded either by our government or free downloaded via internet.

There are many mobile applications available to educate children in innovative ways. I am using many of them to educate my children in local language. You should search for such applications in mobile app stores
