Hi Asma, there are filtration-based CTC isolation methods available from Creatv Microtech, Rarecells Diagnostics, Screencell, to name a few.

Hi Asma, I recommend you to use QIAGEN kit  for  CTCs RNA isolation.

Please take a look at our single cell isolating platform (www.vycap.com), especially designed for isolation of single rare cells like CTC. After isolation you can use any method of choice for further DNA / RNA analysis, including Qiagen and Ampli-1. 

I used ISET for isolating CTCs and Clontec kit for extracting RNA from single cell

I would like to hear more about CTC isolation technologies that do no or do not use formaldehyde fixation of CTC collected in whole blood samples and how the fixation affects DNA/RNA/ Protein function
