As a veterinarian, and later specialized in the field of public health/food microbiology, I prefer qualified journals in my field of expertise, and for me, they are (Comparative Immunology, Microbiology, and Infectious Diseases, Veterinary world, and international journal of one health) which are the best in my field.

We always try to publish our research in international, peer-reviewed journals. In order to avoid predatory publishers, we always choose established and well-known publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley, Springer or Taylor & Francis. Especially for chemistry publishing there are two more renowned publishers available, namely the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) in the UK and the American Chemical Society (ACS). With an impact factor of 14.612 the Journal of the American Chemical Society is one of the top chemical journals.
